Gautam Dyes & Chemicals Inc History

GDCI was incorporated on 16th June 1973 and company started its business by selling various types of dyes to Textile Industries of South India.

In 1979 GDCI got associated with Goodlass Nerolac paints Ltd and this was the very first milestone in History of GDCI.

GDCI started working with various MNC's like Ciba Geigy Ltd., Diamond Dye-Chem and Huntsman Ltd, etc for various products catering textile industries.

By this time our product basket was full with various pigment manufacturers around India to cater to Paint, Printing Ink, Plastic, Coatings, Textile industries.

GDCI felt India's requirement for good quality Tio2, hence GDCI's first import was Tio2 from various parts of the world to cater almost all the industries where Tio2 was required, till date we are one of the biggest Tio2 suppliers on Pan India basis.

Since this time GDCI had grown and became more strong in south India with sister concern opened at Hyderabad and Bangalore as individual profit generating houses.

In this year Newly Groomed Mr. Arun Rathore joins the business. With his addition the Sales force had got a boost and company started scaling new heights.

Mr. Anandraj joins the existing set up to handle logistic issues of the company and streamlines the supply chain to optimum in order to achieve customer satisfactions.

Mr. Anup Rathore, joins the family business after an excellent work experience with IBM, Australia and completing MBA from University of Canberra, Australia, to take over the family business of GDCI.

Total restructure was done as the new generation of team had taken over the business from our founder - Mr. Surajmull Rathore.

GDCI Signed with one of the largest manfacturer of Specialty Carbon Black - Cabot Corporations to cater to the needs of various industries for the entire South India.

This year GDCI increased their sales force by bringing in Mr. Sunil Kr Mundhada. With the idea of to Think out of the Box - GDCI signed in with Chiripal Industries for marketing of BOPP Tape Adhesives for Entire South India.

GDCI Signed with Dow Chemicals - This arrangement added another feather to our Cap. We were authorised to sell Dow Construction Chemicals for Entire South India and to Promote sales of Lamination Adhesives.

• Subash Arjun - A Technical Qualified UG was Inducted into salesforce in 2016 for technical support and guidelines to customers.
• GDCI has taken the distributionship of Ms. Chiripal Industries Ltd. For their BOPP and PET films.

GDCI has won the India SME 100 awards for the year 2016 and 2017

• GDCI took the distributionship for Indofil Industries Ltd. For their Coatings and Construction Chemical products - Entire South India
• GDCI has taken the distributionship of Ms. Sohan Dye Chem Pvt. Ltd. all their pigment products - Entire South India.
• GDCI has achived record breaking target for Ms. Indofil Industires Ltd
• GDCI has taken the distributionship of Ms. Imerys Aluminates (Formerly Ms. Kerneos Aluminates Technologies) for their Construction Chemcial products - Entire South India.

• GDCI has been appointed as the Stockist for Ms. Travancore Titanium Products Ltd.
• GDCI has been appointed as the Channel Partner for Tronox Chemicals company to sell all grades of Tio2
